Gen 9 OU

Every option, ranked, every turn.

Coach sits beside your battle on Pokémon Showdown. Each turn it searches twenty-four possible versions of your opponent's team and tells you what it would play, and how far ahead of everything else that move is.

Straight answers

What it is, and what it isn't.

It is

  • A second opinion on every turn, ranked, in your own battle.
  • Playing through your browser session — you stay logged in as you.
  • Gen 9 OU, singles.
  • Silent about your games: nothing about a battle, team, or opponent ever leaves your machine.

It isn't

  • A guarantee. It is a strong opinion that is sometimes wrong.
  • A teambuilder, a tier list, or a stats site.
  • Other formats — not randoms, not doubles, not VGC.
  • Something that asks for your Showdown password. It never sees one.
Price

One price, no tiers.

Deliberately not cheap. An edge that everybody has is not an edge.

Questions

Before you buy.

What do I need to run it?

Windows, Chrome, and a processor with at least 3 physical cores. The installer checks the cores before it copies anything, so it will tell you rather than leaving you with something that does not work.

How do I cancel?

On your billing page. Enter the email you paid with, Stripe sends you a link, and you can cancel or change your card there. Cancelling keeps Coach running until the end of the period you have already paid for.

I lost my licence key.

Your key is shown again on the page you landed on after paying, so a bookmark is the quickest route. Otherwise recovery needs the email you paid with and the last four digits of that card.

Can I use it on more than one computer?

One at a time. A key binds to the machine it first runs on and can be moved a few times on its own — enough for a new laptop or a Windows reinstall, without you having to ask.

Does it play for me?

Only if you let it. It shows its ranking and its own pick; you click what you want. If you do nothing, it sends its move so you are not left on the clock.

Will this get my account banned?

That is between you and Pokémon Showdown's rules, and it is your call to make rather than ours to promise about. Coach plays through your own browser session and does not hide what it is.

Do I need to be online?

Yes. Coach checks your licence and loads at each launch, which takes about a second. You are already online to play Showdown.
